The coming of peace precipitated changes in social and economic life. No longer merely the maid, Lina returned home an equal partner in the household.

Incidentally, elsewhere on this web site I explain that Realdolls cannot stand unsupported. However, Lina can stand on her own as shown here. There is very little weight on her hands; her arms behind her act as counterweights preventing her folding forward at the waist. (Caroline, made in early 2004, could also do this when her knee joints were new and stiff.)

Incidentally, the electric cable apparently routing up inside her skirt is an optical illusion. (I really should tidy up all the clutter in here.)
