Lina, a body 8 Realdoll, is much larger than Laura, a 4woods (Japan) Neo-J, and twice as heavy. Nevertheless, because Lina hangs from a wall-mounted bracket in an upright position and I roll her from room to room in a wheeled office chair, she is not much more difficult to store and move around. The exception is when carring her up or down stairs, where Laura's relatively light weight (59 lb, I am told) makes a big difference. Laura is much more mobile in bed for the same reason.
Lina (along with all my Realdolls except Rebecca) takes up much less storage space than Laura despite her greater size and weight. Realdolls hang up in a more-or-less standing position whereas I store Laura in a bed. However, she could possibly be stored in a reclining chair well padded with soft cushions with no ill-effects.
