June

June is a head #1 body #1 doll made in May 2010 by Knighthorse (now Sinthetics). She has the peaches skin tone and green eyes.

Whereas I painted freckles on my earlier dolls (principally Rebecca) using poster paint, June's freckles were applied at the factory, so they are permanent.

Gunslinger Girl is an anime set in southern Italy. It features young girls (much younger than June) rescued from near death (after accidents or other dire events) by being fitted with cybernetic implants. They also undergo mental conditioning and a regime of training that enables them to carry out assassinations on behalf of the Italian government.
